Miracles in Sudan: Satan is no match for the power of Jesus Christ

Jesus said, “...I now send you to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God,...” (Acts 26:17-18). This is exactly what happened in the town of Magwe during our third Miracle Festival in the Sudan. The power of the devil or witchcraft is no match for the power of Jesus Christ.

At least 17 people testified on the platform of being delivered from demons. Some collapsed to the ground as Mark would begin to preach..

Then, the pastors would pull them aside and cast out the demon(s). Others were set free even as they walked on the site of the Festival

One lady, Rose Ayoo, testified that as she was being set free, the demons said to her, “We have killed three of your four children. And the fourth one is sick. But now that you are receiving Christ, we are going.” Then about three pastors went to her house and destroyed the fetishes given to her by the witchdoctor. The fourth child was healed as a result.

It was exciting to see Rose immediately get involved with the work of the gospel. She was serving at the conference. She began helping the pastors cast out demons and laying hands on the sick!

Alex Odoo was paralyzed in his right leg for a year and a half. He depended on a stick to move around. On the first night of the festival, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. That night, while asleep in bed, an angel walked into his hut and awakened him.

Alex was alarmed with fear and then found himself speaking in an unknown tongue! Then the angel said, “Get out of your bed. Leave your stick behind. You are healed.” And Alex got up healed!

Ten-year-old Mary was blind for five years. Her sight began to return from the first night of the festival. She kept believing and acting her faith. By night five, she was completely healed!

Andrew was hit by a car twenty years ago in Kampala, Uganda. The accident injured his back, left deep wounds in his leg, and damaged his liver. He lived with constant pain in his body, including his chest. He could not walk without the use of a stick. Now he is healed and pain free!

Otema had a tumor in his side for a year and a half. The tumor had grown to the size of a softball. When mass prayer was offered for the crowd, he heard a sound of release coming from where the tumor had existed - “pop pop pop pop pop”. He looked down and saw that it had completely disappeared!

Akot was possessed by demons for three years. At the conference she was set free. The bondage from the enemy effected her physical senses. She could only see ‘blackness’ when

people were talking right in front of her. When someone would stand on her toes, she couldn’t feel it. Akot had tears of joy as she testified of her new freedom.
Josca was healed of a tumor the size of an egg and back pain. She was also healed of a severe case of hemorrhoids. After twenty-four hours of freedom she testified on stage of what God did for her. These are some of the miracles that Jesus did in Magwe. By the end of the week, an estimated 8,600 people had responded to the call for salvation in Christ.	Faith and Fire Leadership Conference
On the last night the crowd prayed to receive the Holy Spirit. Many were filled and spoke in tongues! Already we have heard testimonies of church growth. To God be all the glory! Thank you partners for making all of this possible. The best is yet to come!

The leadership conference in Magwe was one of the best conferences we have conducted to date. The leaders were hungry for God and His word. They were strengthened in the faith and filled with the Spirit. The leaders caught the vision for multiplication and church planting. We believe many churches will be born in the Sudan, Kenya, and other African nations as a result of this conference! So be it! Thank you partners!
