Unreached People Group Experiences the Reality of Christ!
We are glad that God has given us the honor of carrying the name of Jesus Christ to the untold! The cry of our hearts is “that none would perish.” Your partnership makes it possible. Our second Good News Miracle Festival in the Sudan was in the town of Kapoeta. Kapoeta is home of an unreached people group called the Taposa.

Our translator, James, is a pastor of a Taposan congregation. He had twenty believers and knew of no other church among the Taposan people.

At the festival many Taposan people attended and experienced the reality of Christ as the Gospel was proclaimed and demonstrated. By the end of the festival an estimated 2,550 people received Christ as their Lord and Savior. On the final night approximately 130 believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues.

Healings always follow the preaching of the gospel of Christ when the entire gospel message is presented. This campaign in Kapoeta, Sudan was no exception.

One young man testified of being set free from epilepsy that had oppressed him since he was a small child. He suffered four seizures a day for years. At the festival he witnessed of going an entire day with no seizure. Praise God for His goodness.

One man testified of the horror of no health in his home. His daughter was sick. His wife was afflicted with a heart condition since 2003. He had spent lots of money for treatments at the hospital, but there was no improvement. His wife had grown so weak that she was not eating.

Healed of Epilesy!

So he brought his wife and daughter to the festival. And they were both healed. They went home and ate. The next day they ate and rejoiced throughout the day. Jesus is Lord!

Rose is a pastor’s wife who lives in Kapoeta, two hours from her husband, for the sake of employment. She has suffered for ten years with severe joint pain. After the first night of the festival she was completely healed in the middle of the night. The next morning she sought for the evangelistic crusade team at the leadership conference to invite them to her restaurant. She wanted to feed the team as a token of appreciation for what God had done. On the second night of the festival she demonstrated her healing to the crowd by kneeling on the platform – something she could not previously do when she suffered with the disease.

A young girl suffered with a deaf right ear caused by a beating from her uncle. On stage the Lord Jesus restored her hearing. Also, she was farsighted. On stage she was reading the time of a watch, as well as reading the print on a badge.

Former Soldier's Deaf Ear Pops Open!

A man testified to being healed in his left ear. Eight years ago he lost his hearing during the war when a bomb exploded nearby. All that remained in his left ear was a constant ringing. Now he hears clearly and there is no ringing.

A young girl by the name of Nancy was healed of a severe case of anemia. Previously, she could not stand for any length of time or walk for any good distance. After being healed she was hopping and walking normally. All the pain was gone.

An old man came on stage and testified that during prayer a “painful stone” that he had in his stomach decreased in size. Then hands were laid on him and the thing left completely! Also, he no longer depended on his stick to walk!

On the sixth and last night of the festival a Taposan man came on stage walking and lifting his hands over his head for the first time in three years. He came to James, my translator’s church that morning paralyzed in a wheelchair. James laid hands on him in Jesus’ name and the man rose up!

There were more testimonies, but space doesn’t permit us to list them all. God is a good God. The Gospel is advancing. Jesus is coming back. Thank you to all our partners for your commitment to world evangelism.
